Trustees are all volunteers who have family interred at Germany Valley Rural Cemetery

Our association is based on the belief that our customers' needs are of the utmost importance.

The Association honors our veterans by placing military markers and flags at each grave site. For information about memorial benefits provided by the federal government, please see the US Department of Veterans Affairs website: access.va.gov.

Current GVRCA Pricing:

Ind. Grave Plot = $ 1,880 (includes $500 foundation)

Ind. Monument Foundations (older plots) = $ 1.50/sq.in. + $20 or 10% (whichever is greater)

Opening Grave (weekday) = $ 1,112

Opening Grave (weekend) = $ 1,236

Cremains Interment (weekday) = $ 560

Cremains Interment (weekend) = $ 640

Replacement Deed or Certificate = $ 30

Memorial Paver = $ 100

Tribute Bench = $ 500

Emergency Opening (burial within 24 hours) = $ 1,436

Rules and Regulations

The cemetery has operated under these Rules and Regulations so that all may enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the cemetery. Contact the Association to request a copy of the Rules and Regulations.

Mon - Sun: 0800 - 1700. 

Visitation is at anytime during daylight hours.

Please view this website frequently for information about any closings due to events, projects or weather emergencies.

Ongoing activities include the following:

  • Re-align burial markers that have shifted from their original position

  • Cleaning of all monuments

  • Installing memorial pavers & tribute benches

  • American flags are placed at veterans' graves and continually refreshed. Most military markers are installed by the Association at no cost to the family. 128 veterans of all wars interred at this cemetery.
